Henry Mootabadi Henry Mootabadi is the CEO at Excellencers. Henry is a consultant in several fields such as bioprocess engineering, wastewater treatment, sustainability and circular economy. He has a master’s degree from the University of Newcastle and is a prominent researcher in the field of knowledge management, energy and environment with strong research and academia background with several publications in high-quality Journals. He has received awards for excellence in research innovation and high impact scientific publications including Malaysian Technology Expo 2009 and BioMalaysia 2009.
Dr Shay Haftkany Dr Shay Haftkany is a Principal Project Manager at Excellencers. Shay is an environmental and water treatment engineer eager in projects related to environmental science and water/wastewater treatment plants. She has completed her PhD (Environmental Engineering) at University Science Malaysia. With more than eight years of experience in both academic and industrial field work skills, she has successfully implemented the most up-to-date water and wastewater treatment methods and has provided in-depth analysis and detailed documentation in several projects. She was involved in the award-winning Hydro Harvest Operation project at Newcastle Institute for Energy & Resources (NIER), University of Newcastle as a Researcher. Shay is currently managing several wastewater and water treatment projects in the Hunter region.
Dr Alireza Abbasi Dr Alireza Abbasi is a Principal Project Manager at Excellencers. Alireza is also Director of Postgraduate Studies and Coordinator of Project Management programs in the University of New South Wales (UNSW) at Canberra. He obtained his PhD in Project Management from the University of Sydney in 2012 before joining the School of Engineering and Information Technology (SEIT) at UNSW Canberra. He also holds a graduate certificate in University Learning and Teaching from UNSW Sydney. His research and teaching interests include project management, management science, information systems management and network science. He has written a book, three book chapters and over 60 technical journal and conference papers. Dr Abbasi has had several appointments and been involved in different projects in IT/Software, Oil, Education and R&D sectors. He is an active member of several professional bodies including Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), Project Management Institute (PMI), and Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM).
Dr Mehrnoush Khavarian Dr Mehrnoush Khavarian is a Principal Project Manager at Excellencers. Mehrnoush is a skilled researcher and a Professional Engineer in the field of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. She is passionate about renewable energy, environment, greenhouse gas conversion and sustainable energy development, industrial waste management. She is interested in developing a solution to environmental problems and sustainable development to reach the circular economy. Mehrnoush has more than ten years of both Australian and international experience in research design and methodology, data analysis and organizing findings. She has also used her profession to find sustainable solutions in the management of industrial waste and recycled materials to reduce the carbon footprint in the construction industry. She has been awarded different funds on various research projects which the completion of them given her valuable engineering insights.
Dr Ali Kosravi Dr Ali Kosravi is a Senior Consultant at Excellencers. He has completed his PhD at Macquarie University, Sydney in Business Management and has led more than 30 Business Improvement projects within a range of industries including health, education, telecommunication, construction, water and sewerage, power generation and distribution, food, automotive, oil drilling, and a two-billion-dollar oil refinery and petrochemical complex project where he was in charge of the whole feasibility study. His main fields of expertise include Business Excellence and Business Process / Performance Management. He has published articles in international journals such as Business Process Management Journal and Total Quality Management and Business Excellence Journal.
